Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Head of HR & Administration to lead our HR functions and drive organizational development. This role is critical for fostering a goal-oriented culture, managing HR operations, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep FMCG experience, with a preference for those from family-run organizations, and will have demonstrated expertise in creating an engaged, high-performing workforce. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive digital transformation in HR processes, leveraging IT to streamline operations and improve employee experience. Foster a performance-driven, goal-oriented culture within the organization. Organizational Development (OD) and Change Management: Lead OD initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and agility. Build and implement talent development and succession planning strategies. Design and execute programs for skill enhancement, cultural transformation, and innovation. HR Operations Management: Oversee all HR operations, including appraisals, payroll management, compensation benchmarking, and recruitment. Manage performance appraisal cycles, ensuring timely feedback and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain efficient payroll systems and procedures, meeting statutory requirements and timelines. Compensation & Benefits: Design and review compensation structures in line with industry standards. Lead compensation benchmarking studies to retain and attract top talent. Oversee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage industrial relations (IR) and address employee grievances. Ensure statutory compliance, managing regulatory obligations in labor laws and workplace safety. Lead initiatives in POSH, diversity, inclusion, and workplace well-being. Talent Acquisition & Development: Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Drive recruitment and training programs, optimizing for future growth and scalability. Create succession plans for key roles, fostering a pipeline of emerging leaders. Administration & Facility Management: Oversee administration functions, including facility management, vendor relations, and workplace safety. Implement efficient office operations and streamline resource allocation to enhance productivity. IT and Digital Transformation: Spearheaded IT-driven initiatives within HR, improving processes and employee engagement through digital tools. Foster a culture of continuous learning by leveraging digital platforms and modern HR technologies. HR Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data to make informed HR decisions, providing regular reports on turnover, productivity, and employee engagement. Monitor HR metrics, aligning with organizational objectives to identify improvement areas. Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications - Full-time MBA in HR from a top 50 NIRF-ranked institute. Work Experience Requirements - 14-18 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within an FMCG setting. Languages - Fluency in Hindi and English (mandatory); Tamil and Malayalam (desirable). Skills Required: Should have good Leadership skills and be able to motivate the team to achieve synergy. Must be comfortable working in a standalone environment. Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented. Able to solve both operational and strategic problems with a practical and commercially viable approach. Capable of making sensible and intelligent decisions in challenging situations, especially when facing tight deadlines. Self-motivated and self-aware - recognizes own strengths and weaknesses and is committed to personal development. Displays integrity - is sincere in own behavior and in dealings with others. Should have a strategic vision both short term and long term. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good Analytical skills.
