Desired Qualification & Experience CA/Cost Accountants Certified Internal Auditor (Desired) Certified Information Systems Auditor (Desired) Certified Fraud Examiner (Desired)/Forensic Audits (Desired) Min 18 Yrs of Exp with 5+ Yrs of overall exp in leading audits team. Role & responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive audit strategy and annual audit plan aligned with the organization's goals, objectives, and risk profile. Prioritize audit activities based on risk assessment and emerging trends to address key areas of concern. Conduct internal audits, including planning, execution, and reporting. Familiarity with audit techniques, sampling methods, and data analytics. Assess and evaluate risks, controls, and governance processes. Provide leadership and direction to the internal audit team, ensuring alignment with professional standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements. Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and technology, to support audit engagements and achieve audit objectives. Review audit work papers, findings, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including management, audit committee members, external auditors, and regulators. Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights effectively to stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and action planning. Promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance within the organization, emphasizing the importance of ethical behaviour and adherence to regulatory requirements. Prepare and present audit reports, findings, and recommendations to the audit committee, board of directors, and senior management, providing insights into the organization's risk profile and internal control environment. Functional Competencies: Ability to provide strategic direction, inspire teams, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the internal audit function. Skill in setting clear goals, delegating responsibilities, and empowering team members to achieve objectives. Capacity to develop and implement a comprehensive audit strategy aligned with the organization's goals, objectives, and risk profile.
