Location: Mumbai/ Tarapur, Maharashtra Experience: 20+ years, preferably in manufacturing Key Responsibilities: 1. Audit Leadership: Lead the internal audit function, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all business processes. Develop and implement a risk-based audit plan. Oversee the execution of audits, ensuring adherence to internal audit standards. 2. Risk Management: Identify and assess areas of significant business risk. Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks. Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of risk management processes. 3. Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Review and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets. Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior. 4. Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor audit staff. Foster a high-performing audit team. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. 5. Reporting: Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the audit committee. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements. 6. SAP Knowledge: SAP experience is mandatory. Utilize SAP for audit processes and data analytics. Ensure the effective use of SAP in financial and operational audits. Provide training and support to the audit team on SAP functionalities. Qualifications: Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent. Certifications: CIA, CPA, or CISA preferred. Experience: 15+ years in internal auditing, with significant experience in the manufacturing sector. Skills: Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and practices. Proficiency in SAP and other audit software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Timeliness and quality of audit reports. Effectiveness of risk management strategies. Compliance with regulatory requirements. Team performance and development. Implementation rate of audit recommendations.
