A leading processing equipment manufacturer (part of a global group) seeks a Finance Head (General Manager) to oversee financial discipline, ensure compliance, and lead strategic financial initiatives. Job Responsibilities: • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and long-term forecasting to align with strategic goals. • Monitor financial projections and performance against budgets, ensuring accuracy. • Optimize working capital to maintain liquidity and support operational cash flow. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flows). • Coordinate timely monthly and statutory reporting to the Parent Company. • Lead audits, tax filings, and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements. • Provide accurate financial analysis for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely MIS reporting to Group companies. • Implement cost control measures, focusing on manufacturing expenses, to enhance margins; oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and overhead management. • Ensure compliance with tax laws coordinating with tax authorities and auditors for timely submissions. • Lead SAP system implementation to enhance financial reporting and accounting processes. • Mentor and develop a finance and accounts team to drive performance and growth. • Assist in pricing strategies and assess financial impacts of business decisions. • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions. • Represent the company in meetings with investors and financial stakeholders as needed. Qualifications & Experience: - Qualifications : Chartered Accountant (CA) certification. - Experience: • Over 15 years in finance and accounting, including 5-7 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and manufacturing-specific compliance requirements. • Proven experience managing mid-scale financial operations (business scale of ₹200-300 Cr) and proficiency in SAP software. • Prior experience with multinational corporations (MNCs) would be beneficial. - Skills & Attributes: • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. • Expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis. • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, particularly in the Indian context. • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency. • Strategic thinking with the ability to influence and drive business decisions. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
