Position: Head of Marketing, Branding, and Campaign ManagementExperience: 15+ YearsJob Location: Hyderabad - Work from Office Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Marketing, Branding, and Campaign Management to lead our global marketing efforts for both our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) business and our Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive business growth in both segments. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent strategic thinking, and proven experience in managing branding initiatives and executing impactful marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities:• Strategic Marketing Leadership:o Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for both the API and CDMO businesses, aligning with overall business objectives and sales targets.o Define and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different channels and activities.o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and develop differentiated marketing messages.o Establish and monitor key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) to track campaign effectiveness and ROI.o Stay abreast of industry trends, digital marketing advancements, and best practices in pharmaceutical marketing. • Branding and Positioning:o Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity for the company, encompassing both API and CDMO offerings.o Define clear value propositions and messaging for target audiences in both business segments.o Oversee the creation of all marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms (website, brochures, presentations, etc.).o Manage the company's online presence, including website content, SEO/SEM strategies, and social media engagement (primarily LinkedIn for B2B pharma).o Enhance brand reputation and build thought leadership through content marketing, webinars, and industry event participation. • Campaign Management:o Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and nurture prospects for both API sales and CDMO services.o Develop targeted campaigns for specific customer segments and geographic regions.o Utilize a mix of digital marketing tactics (e.g., email marketing, content marketing, LinkedIn advertising) and traditional approaches (e.g., industry conferences, print advertising) as appropriate.o Track and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.o Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors. • API Specific Marketing:o Develop marketing materials and strategies that highlight the company's API manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and product portfolio.o Target pharmaceutical formulators and other API purchasers through relevant channels.o Support the sales team with technical marketing information and presentations. • CDMO Specific Marketing:o Develop marketing materials and strategies that showcase the company's CDMO services, including development, manufacturing, and analytical capabilities.o Target pharmaceutical companies seeking outsourcing partners for drug development and manufacturing.o Highlight the company's expertise, technology, and customer-centric approach. • Team Leadership and Collaboration:o Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.o Foster strong collaboration with sales, business development, R&D, and other internal teams.o Ensure effective communication and alignment between marketing and sales efforts. Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of both API and CDMO businesses.• Proven track record of developing and executing successful branding strategies and marketing campaigns in the B2B pharmaceutical space.• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical sales cycle and customer decision-making processes.• Strong digital marketing skills, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing (LinkedIn expertise is crucial).• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content for technical and business audiences.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret marketing data to drive decision-making.• Proven leadership and team management abilities.• Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies.• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools. Preferred Skills and Experience:• Experience marketing pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to formulators.• Experience marketing CDMO services to pharmaceutical companies.• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements.• Experience with international marketing and working with global teams.
