Role & responsibilities The Head of Product Agricultural Biologicals & Nutrition is responsible for leading the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of innovative biological and nutritional solutions for agriculture. This role involves overseeing product formulation, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing manufacturing processes, and aligning product strategies with market demands. Key Responsibilities: Product Development & Innovation Lead the formulation and development of biologicals (biofertilizers, biostimulants, biopesticides) and agricultural nutrition products. Collaborate with R&D teams to drive innovation based on market trends and agronomic research. Ensure product efficacy through field trials and laboratory testing. Develop sustainable and eco-friendly solutions in line with industry advancements. Manufacturing & Operations Oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and cost optimization. Implement best practices in fermentation, extraction, and blending technologies. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability and production scalability. Regulatory & Compliance Ensure compliance with local and international regulations (EPA, ISO, OMRI, etc.). Oversee product registrations, safety standards, and certifications. Maintain documentation for audits, quality control, and regulatory approvals. Market Strategy & Business Growth Work closely with sales and marketing teams to define product positioning and go-to- market strategies. Conduct competitor analysis and identify new market opportunities. Develop training programs for sales teams and distributors on product applications and benefits. Leadership & Team Management Lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control. Recruit, train, and mentor product managers, scientists, and manufacturing staff.
