- Research, write, and edit original content on a variety of health and wellness topics, with a focus on nutrition, exercise, and movement. - Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., doctors, dietitians) to ensure accuracy and credibility of content. - Develop content strategies that align with our overall marketing goals and target audience needs. - Optimize content for search engines (SEO) using relevant keywords and best practices. - Create engaging social media posts and manage social media content calendars. - Develop email newsletters and other marketing materials. - Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and research in health, nutrition, kinesiology, and exercise physiology. - Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice and style guidelines. - Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and style. - Contribute to the development of new content formats and initiatives. Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Clinical Nutrition, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related field. - 0-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., clinical practice, research, health education). - Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar and style. - Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for a lay audience. - Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. - Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Passion for health and wellness and a commitment to providing accurate and reliable information. - Experience with content marketing and strategy is a plus. Portfolio of writing samples is required.
