Role & responsibilities Financial Operations & Reporting:Manage plant-level financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and monthly plant performance reports.Ensure accurate cost allocation and product costing to optimize plant profitability.Costing & Budgeting:Monitor raw material, production, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted expenses, investigating discrepancies.Compliance & Audit:Ensure adherence to tax regulations (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance applicable to the feed industry.Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits and ensure proper documentation.Implement internal financial controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize financial risks.Inventory & Procurement Control:Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to track material costs and control inventory valuation.Conduct stock reconciliations and monitor wastage to improve efficiency.Assist in vendor payments, price negotiations, and contract compliance.MIS & Data Analysis:Generate financial dashboards and MIS reports for plant operations.Provide insights on plant profitability, working capital management, and cash flow.Support the senior management team with data-driven recommendations for decision-making.Team & Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and sales to ensure financial efficiency.Supervise junior finance executives and support staff in day-to-day activities.Preferred candidate profile Plant Finance & accounts Perks and benefits
