Please visit the official CanKids Website for further details. https://www.cankidsindia.org/ Department Overview The Resource Mobilization Department is responsible for acquiring flexible, long-term funding and partnerships through institutional, retail, HNI, and CSR channels. The team works strategically to build donor networks, design and deliver impactful campaigns, ensure stewardship, and align donor interests with Cankids' mission. Job Summary The HNI Manager will lead and manage CanKids’ engagement with High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), focusing on donor identification, cultivation, relationship management, and long-term stewardship. This is a field-oriented, results-driven fundraising role requiring high networking ability, strong interpersonal communication, and strategic donor alignment to scale philanthropic contributions from HNIs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Donor Identification & Cultivation · Identify and build a high-quality pipeline of HNI prospects through personal networks, referrals, and strategic research. · Expand and maintain an active database of philanthropic HNIs. · Align donor interests with Cankids’ program areas and impact goals. 2. Donor Engagement & Relationship Management · Schedule and conduct personalized in-person meetings with HNIs. · Develop customized donor journeys for engagement and long-term commitment. · Organize exclusive donor engagement events, project visits, and behind-the-scenes showcases. 3. Conversion & Stewardship · Convert prospective leads into committed donors with a focus on recurring and major gifts. · Ensure timely donor acknowledgements, reporting, and communications. · Coordinate with communications and impact teams to deliver compelling proposals and reports. 4. Collaboration & Reporting · Liaise with program, finance, and communication teams for accurate data and impact narratives. · Maintain real-time donor tracking, forecasting, and reporting through CRM tools. · Report periodically to the CRMCO and contribute insights for strategic planning. Fund-Raising Sources to Focus On: · High Net-Worth Individuals · Philanthropic Foundations (as aligned with HNI interests) · Family Offices and Influencer Circles Other Extended Duties Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Resource Mobilization and Communication Officer (CRMCO). Required Qualifications and Experience · Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Preference for Marketing, Business, or Social Work. · Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or business development. · Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and convert HNIs into donors. · Strong personal network in philanthropic or business circles. · Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling skills. · Ability to travel extensively and meet fundraising targets. · Familiarity with CRM and donor management tools is a plus. Key Deliverables 1. HNI Fundraising Revenue: Achieve annual HNI contribution targets as per departmental goals. 2. Donor Conversion: Convert a minimum percentage of HNI leads into long-term donors. 3. Retention Rate: Maintain and grow the HNI donor base through consistent engagement. 4. Event Activation: Organize at least 3–4 HNI-specific engagement events annually. 5.
