Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) Modern Trade to drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with key modern trade partners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and market share in the modern trade channel . Build and maintain strong relationships with major pharmacy chains, including Apollo, Wellness Forever , MedPlus, and Noble Plus . Ensure effective business planning and category management with key accounts. Identify new business opportunities and negotiate partnerships with modern trade retailers. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the industry. Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure effective execution of trade promotions and brand activations. Lead and manage a sales team, providing training and guidance to achieve business targets. Ensure timely reporting of sales performance and key metrics to senior management. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on modern trade . Industry Expertise: Prior experience in pharma, wellness, FMCG, or healthcare sector preferred. Relationships: Must have strong working relationships with Apollo, Forever Wellness, MedPlus, and Noble Plus . Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
