Key Responsibilities: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with SG's business objectives, focusing on both domestic and international markets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, distribution channels, and untapped markets, to drive growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales metrics and forecasts. Oversee the sales department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment. Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. Key Skills & Qualification : Stay well-informed with the industrys advancements and the emerging sales technologies. MBA (Sales/Marketing) or equivalent from a renowned institution. 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in the Indian market. People from sports industry would be preferred. Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions. Deep understanding of the Indian consumer landscape, sports market dynamics (equipment and apparel) and cultural nuances. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
