Must Have: Required Experience Over 15 years of design experience across web, mobile, and digital platforms. Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, and Lean UX methodologies. Proficiency in Figma, Jira, Adobe Creative Cloud, and usability testing tools. Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Hybris). Strong client presentation, strategic consulting, and storytelling skills Leadership & Team Management Proven leadership in managing cross-discipline creative studios, ensuring billability, profitability, and team growth. Experience in project scoping, structuring, cost estimation, and defining requirements to optimize project delivery. Ability to collaborate with global teams for project allocation, budgeting, and risk assessment. Strong stakeholder management to retain, attract, and recruit top creative talent. Ability to operate in ambiguity, drive clarity, and help teams move forward. Conflict resolution and team performance management experience. Experience in business development, sales pursuits, and client engagement to win new projects. Experience Design & Consulting Strong UX/UI and experience strategy expertise, including customer journey mapping, service design blueprints, experience architecture, and performance optimization. Ability to define success metrics and evaluate design solutions based on usability and efficiency. Lead creative teams through experience research, visioning, prototyping, and digital solution design. Strong ability to shape project paths, define UX success metrics, and align with business goals. Ability to mentor teams, develop thought leadership, and drive industry best practices. Cultural & Global Leadership Ability to build and inspire high-performing teams, fostering creativity and innovation. Industry leadership experience, including public speaking, networking, and brand building. Collaborate with Merkles global teams to drive cross-regional initiatives and projects. Ability to pull in billable project work from international teams. Experience working with offshore and distributed teams across multiple locations. . Good to Have: Exposure to Generative AI platforms and interest in leveraging AI for creative solutions. Hands-on experience with Design Thinking, Product Thinking, and Rapid Prototyping. Background in digital business transformation and creative studio scaling. Cross-cultural leadership experience, working with international markets.
