Hi, Please find below J.D: Role: QA Lead, 100% remote, Shift: 2 to 11 p.m. Position Summary The QA Lead, will work closely with external and internal software development/testing teams and manage all aspects of quality assurance. Position Responsibilities Direct the development of a QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework Coordinate, organize and lead all quality assurance activities Drive opportunities for quality and consistency improvement in products and processes through effective department management Conduct interviews, induction and training of all QA resources Direct and mentor offshore QA resources in the performance of QA processes, procedures, and testing related to new product releases aligned with company goals and product requirements. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Create test plans and roadmaps, identifying critical testing areas and priorities. Designing and creation of automation frameworks using Java, Selenium Webdriver, Junit, Test NG, Maven and Jenkins. Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally. Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects efficiently. Define overall testing strategy and test processes for new and existing product lines Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, test cases and test summary documents for all products Evaluate and implement new testing tools to improve efficiency and test coverage. Communicate all key project plans, commitments and changes to project partners Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization with a focus on improving quality control in all phases of the development process as a core value Education & Essential Skills Cucumber Selenium Katalon Studio - Preferred SQL Scripting Sonar Cube - Preferred Building custom scripts for testing VSTS - Preferred Java Junit Rest Assured GIT Playwright - Preferred Artillery - Preferred Experience Minimum of five years in quality assurance and two years managing testing teams Experience managing onshore and offshore teams Mastery of quality control best practices Experience with development techniques such as CI/CD Experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Junit, Jasmine, Mocha Experience with cloud based services, testing processes and frameworks Development background ideal
