Job Specification:- Position:- Sales Officer , Location :-South Mumbai Experience :- 2 years + Industry:- Grocery & Pharma Channel:- General Trade/OTC Job Description:- General Trade. Sales Target Achievement : Daily market visit and cover 20-25 retailers daily basis as per monthly travel plan. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in General Trade by expanding the distributor and retailer base. Distributor Management : Build strong relationships with distributors, ensuring product availability and maintaining optimum stock levels. Retailer Engagement : Conduct regular market visits to assess retailer performance, manage relationships, and ensure visibility of the brand in outlets. Route Planning : Plan and execute the sales route for daily market visits to maximize coverage and improve product penetration. Market Feedback : Gather feedback from retailers and distributors on pricing, promotions, competitor activity, and product acceptance. Modern Trade (MT): Store Management : Work closely with key accounts, supermarkets, and hypermarkets to drive sales and ensure product visibility. Planogram Compliance : Ensure the brands products are displayed according to planogram guidelines and that promotional displays are set up correctly. Stock Management : Monitor stock levels in stores, coordinating with supply chain and merchandising teams to avoid out-of-stock situations. Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and category managers to ensure smooth operations. Promotions & Activations : Implement promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and other initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Growth in the number of active retailers and stores. Improvement in product visibility and brand presence in both GT and MT. Effective distributor and store relationship management. Reduction in out-of-stock issues and improvement in stock rotation.
