Job Description

Role & responsibilities Process telephone and email reservations according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained and input accordingly into PMS. Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the hotels policy is adhered to at all times. Process all reservations and extra net messages ensuring that all bookings are accurate. To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures. To ensure that all reservations standards and procedures are met with regard to reservations and system input. Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate. To liaise with sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure that VIP guests are recognized as part of the VIP procedures, including room allocations, amenities and arrival welcome. To determine from reservations any sales leads for future business and ensure these are passed to the sales department. Ensure reservations are taken accurately & traces are in place for the front office to follow up as required. Ensure that reservations include accurate billing details and that the accounts department have the required back-up
