Job Summary: The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production facility in compliance with food safety regulations. This role supports the quality assurance team to ensure a safe and sanitized environment for food production. Key Responsibilities: Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization of production areas, equipment, and tools. Follow and implement SOPs for hygiene and sanitation as per industry and FSSAI standards. Assist in monitoring pest control, waste management, and water sanitation practices. Maintain hygiene logs and cleaning checklists with proper documentation. Support production staff in maintaining personal hygiene and usage of protective gear. Report any hygiene-related issues or non-compliances to the QA or Hygiene Officer. Participate in hygiene audits and training sessions. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum qualification: 10th Pass; Certification in Food Safety/Sanitation preferred. Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is an advantage. Understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and hygiene protocols. Physically fit and able to work in production environments and shifts. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
