Position: HR & Safety Officer Location: Seekinankuppam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu 603302 Experience Required: 35 years Reporting To: HR Head Team Size Supported: ~460 employees Working Days: Monday to Saturday (General Shift) Transportation: Cab facilities available Preferred Candidate: Local candidate familiar with the region and capable of managing local operators Hands-on experience with HR & Safety in manufacturing or similar labor-intensive environments Should have experience working with or managing third-party agencies (5+) Key Responsibilities Human Resources: Recruitment & Onboarding Manage full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer roll-out Conduct structured onboarding & orientation for new joiners Employee Relations Act as a liaison for employee grievances and issues Encourage a healthy, engaged, and compliant workplace culture Performance Management Support implementation of performance appraisal systems Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and training needs Safety: Policy Implementation & Compliance Enforce health and safety procedures in compliance with legal and company standards Perform routine risk assessments and workplace safety audits Training & Awareness Plan and execute regular safety training and awareness programs Ensure employee understanding of all safety norms Incident Management Lead investigations into workplace incidents, document findings, and initiate corrective actions Maintain records of all safety-related incidents Emergency Preparedness Develop emergency response protocols Organize fire drills and mock evacuations regularly
