The HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing accurate, reliable, and accessible business metrics as well as contextualizing them in operational performance with research and advanced analysis. The HRIS Analyst is also responsible for supporting the application and data integrations between Dayforce and other HR applications. This role assumes a key technical role and utilizes in-depth SQL and API technical programming skills to advance and optimize Dayforce s global operational model. The HRIS Analyst will work closely with HR COE s and HR Business Partners to improve and scale our People Data, liaise with various cross-functional partners to effectively organize, and distill data, ask appropriate questions to understand hypotheses and requests, and visualize / present complex data in a compelling manner to Executive audiences. What you ll get to do Development and support of Dayforce interfaces using SQL Migrate integrations in all upgrade planning and deployments Monitor operations of multiple interfaces - respond appropriately to performance/functional issues Create business requirements and technical solution recommendations for business requests that come in via enhancements (including custom report requests) Complete Fit/Gap analyses, functional requirements documents, and technical design documents Identify/recommend opportunity to simplify business administration using application/data integrations Build new analytics and reporting capabilities to support program evaluation and operations. Handle ad hoc reporting and analytics requests, while addressing Stakeholder long-term needs and driving insights for HR Partners and Executives using existing dashboard, HRIS data, and leveraging our people data ecosystem. Intake on business needs and apply contextual knowledge in order to scope data requests, synthesize insights, and recommend solutions to key business partners in collaboration with others. Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Skills and experience we value 5-year college degree in computer science with 3-4 years of development experience or 6+ years of experience with SQL development and/or API development Dayforce database design / development / scripting SQL Server database design / development / scripting 4+ years programming experience (Stored procedures, API s, XML) 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools Experience manipulating large data sets through object-oriented programming (ex: Python), statistical software (R) or other methods Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance Experience having effective conversations with clients about their support needs and requirements, managing the intake process, and asking the right questions to scope and solve the requests Demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data and business issues
