Role & responsibilities Report all incidents, near miss cases and HSE hazards as instructed and ensure their closure. Conducting induction and orientation to new employees joining, promoted or transferred staff to the fresh assignment. Preparation of Job Safety Analysis & Risk Assessments Analysis Procedures . Preparing Accident Incident Investigation Reports and Reviewing of Incident and accident investigation reports. Control lifting equipments and movements of vehicle on the site per international Preparing & maintaining all documents which are legal and audit requirements. Ensure wearing of PPE’S by all workers and staffs like helmets, goggles, glass, life Jackets, safety shoes, safety harness, masks, etc. Identifying and eliminating various hazard involved in construction works. Ensure safe operating instructions are available at working place. Ensure availability of First aid kits and Fire extinguishers at all workplace. Conducting Weekly Inspection Continually raise the awareness level on basic safety aspects amongst engineers, contractor and workers Conduct periodic risk assessment and analysis of the hazardous activities within the area Co-ordinate internal and external safety audit Ensure compliance to all relevant safety legal requirements To succeed: Bachelor degree or similar knowledge through experience Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH Diploma/IGC in OSH or NPCI Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in field of HSE as operations safety, Knowledge of local HSE legislation, standard and practices Experience of quality tools, measuring instruments, RCA etc. Capable of solving practical problems at the shop floor, accommodating both HSEQ and productivity
