HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team in Kozhikode . The ideal candidate should have expertise in HVAC system design , heat load calculations, ducting, and ventilation systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. A strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and energy-efficient design practices is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop HVAC systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Perform heat load calculations, airflow analysis, and equipment selection using software tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant applications. Prepare detailed design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for HVAC systems. Coordinate with architects, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services. Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems as required. Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and other relevant codes in all designs. Provide technical support to clients, contractors, and project teams. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum three years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other HVAC design tools. Strong understanding of ventilation, ductwork, chilled water systems, VRF, and energy-efficient solutions. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Knowledge of local building codes and international HVAC standards. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Must be fluent in Malayalam to effectively communicate with clients, site engineers, and contractors. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Firefighting and Plumbing systems will be an added advantage.
