We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Sales Manager for one of our esteemed clients in the paint industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to play a pivotal role in expanding the clients market presence and driving growth. Key Responsibilities and Work Tasks:Brand Promotion and Awareness:Promote the Companys premium product line within the AID channel by establishing strong, long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, and contractors.Act as a key brand ambassador, ensuring continuous visibility and engagement within the design and construction sectors.Continuous Field Presence and Engagement:Full-time presence in Mumbai is required to maintain direct, day-to-day involvement with the distributors team, AID professionals, and premium resellers.Travel across key regions in India, spending two weeks per month visiting retailers and project sites, promoting the Companys product solutions, and providing pre- and post-sales support.Availability for occasional trips to the Italian HQs.AID-Specific Promotional Activities:Organize and participate in events such as product showcases, design workshops, webinars, and design competitions tailored to the AID segment.Collaborate with the local marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns that highlight the benefits and applications of the Companys products.Product Positioning and Technical Guidance:Provide tailored product recommendations based on the specific needs of design and construction projects.Offer technical support to AID professionals, helping them integrate our products into their specifications and confidently recommend them to end clients.Sales Support and Business Development:Collaborate closely with the distributors sales team to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and support the growth of the Company’s presence within the premium reseller network.Participate in key customer meetings, providing insights on product applications and decorative solutions.Develop with the Italian sales director and the distributor the quarterly order plan, ensure its timely execution and monitor the stock level of the distributor in order to guarantee the correct stock levelContinuous coordination with the HQs, with the Marketing Department for the development of new plans, and with the Technical Department for the scheduling of technical courses for the distributor and its partners.Distributor and Retailer Coordination:Serve as the primary liaison between the Company’s head office, the local distributor, and retailers.Ensure smooth communication regarding new product launches, marketing campaigns, technical updates and technical training for the distributor and its main partners.Provide support for pre-sales activities, including product presentations, and post-sales follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.Market Insights and Competitor Analysis:Continuously monitor market trends, design innovations, and competitor activities within the AID space.Leverage this knowledge to adjust sales strategies, refine product offerings, and recommend improvements to promotional activities.Data Analysis and Reporting:Regularly analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market feedback.Prepare punctual reports for the head office, highlighting key market insights, challenges, and opportunities to support decision-making and R&D initiatives.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably MBA or Master in marketing.3-5 years of experience in the building materials, paints, or coatings industry, preferably within the AID segment.Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel extensively within India.Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of local Indian languages is a plus.
