Job description Job Title: ICP-OES Operator Location: Sreerampur, West Bengal Company: Navprakriti Green Energies Pvt. Ltd. Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: Navprakriti Green Energies is a leading lithium-ion battery recycling company committed to sustainable resource recovery. As part of our expansion, we are strengthening our in-house analytical lab to ensure precision in quality control and material recovery. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced ICP-OES Operator to manage elemental analysis in our laboratory. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) equipment, preferably in a materials or metallurgical testing environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the ICP-OES instrument for routine and specialized elemental analysis Prepare and digest samples (solid, liquid, powder) for accurate testing Calibrate the instrument and perform quality checks to ensure data integrity Interpret and document test results with precision and clarity Maintain accurate logs, calibration records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers when needed Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and waste disposal guidelines Work closely with the production and R&D teams for timely analysis of process samples Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 2 years of experience operating ICP-OES equipment in a lab setting Experience with sample digestion techniques (acid digestion, microwave digestion, etc.) Familiarity with metals and mineral analysis (e.g., Li, Co, Ni, Mn, Cu, Al, Fe) is a strong advantage Proficiency in lab software and basic data reporting tools Skills Required: Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Hands-on expertise in handling sensitive lab instruments Ability to follow safety and analytical SOPs strictly Strong documentation and communication skills Team player with a commitment to quality and precision Role: QC / Lab Chemist Industry Type: Metals & Mining Department: Quality Assurance Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Production & Manufacturing Show more Show less
