Job description Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop comprehensive and engaging chemistry lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum, utilizing various teaching methods and resources. Practical Skills Development: Plan, prepare, and supervise laboratory activities to develop students' practical skills and understanding of chemistry concepts. Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student work, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress to ensure they are meeting learning objectives. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Curriculum Adherence: Ensure all lessons and assessments adhere to the IGCSE Chemistry syllabus requirements and school policies. Student Support: Provide extra support and guidance to students who are struggling, and challenge high-achieving students. Continuous Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in chemistry education. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment by managing student behavior and ensuring safety in the lab. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades. Parent Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
