Location : Hyderabad & Chennai Job Title: Life Sciences Program Manager Job Overview: Exp-15-20 Yrs The Life Sciences Program Manager is responsible for managing complex programs and projects within the life sciences field, including areas like pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare. This role requires a deep understanding of life sciences, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful program delivery, resource management, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of life sciences programs, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including risk assessments, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation. Coordinate multiple projects or initiatives within the program, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration across functional teams such as R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, clinical development, and quality assurance. Report program status, progress, and potential risks to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all projects and programs comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO). Monitor changes in regulations and ensure the program adapts accordingly. Budget and Resource Management: Oversee budgeting and financial management of programs, ensuring projects are completed within budget. Allocate resources effectively to ensure program success and minimize costs. Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the programs success and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues related to timelines, scope, or resources to ensure program success. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to achieve program goals. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment. Data and Reporting: Monitor program performance using key metrics and data analysis to evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed. Generate regular reports on program progress, including key deliverables and outcomes. Innovation and Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of program management processes and practices. Encourage innovative approaches within the program to improve efficiencies and achieve better outcomes. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's degree in a life sciences-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences) is typically required. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus, especially for managerial roles in large organizations. Experience: 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related roles within the life sciences or healthcare industries. Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs or projects. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, etc.). Knowledge of life sciences industry standards, regulations, and compliance (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO 13485). Certifications (optional but preferred): PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification. Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications.
