Major Activities: 1. Income Tax Notices: IT Notices: Checking and updating IT notices through the mail communication. TDS Traces Portal: Checking status of TDS and updating new messages received from IT Dept. 2. TDS: Updating Exemption Certificates: Updating Tax excemption certificates to the respective PIC to update in SAP. Monthly TDS Remittances: Making TDS payments by rechecking the 194C, 194H, 194I, 194J, 194Q & 194R related gls and TB balances. TDS Return Fillings (26Q, 27Q & Trust): Downloading the 26Q report and rectifying the errors. After rectified errors or mistakes should be corrected by manual or adjustments. The finalized file is to be shared with consultant team to TDS return fillings. Sharing TDS Breakup: Sharing TDS breakup to the respective vendors. TDS Defaults: Clearing TDS defaults by downloading JR file & Conso file and rectifying through – Short TDS deductions, PAN Errors. Reconciliation of TDS Gl’s 3. Statutory Audit & Tax Audit: Tax Audit: Finalized TDS details is to be shown in the Tax audit with additional details of interest related to TDS on delay in deduction – delay in deposit (Clause 34C) 4. Internal Audit Queries: Responding to the internal audit queries. 5. Compliance Check u/s 206AB & 206CCA Other Supporting Activities: Downloading GL’s by list for audit/reconciliation purpose. Printing & Scanning of ITAT Paper Books. Support in submitting documents to NNMS. Support in Statutory Audit/Tax Audit. Support in RPT related workings. Support in booking vehicles for auditors/team members. Verifying and sorting sample documents for internal audit/other.
