Role Summary:We are looking for an Engineer, SSL Technical Support who is responsible for managing and troubleshooting SSL certificates, server configurations, and DNS management to ensure secure and efficient operations of our services. You will be expected to have strong knowledge of server environments and a working understanding of DNS management consoles to deliver seamless SSL support and resolution for our customers.Key Responsibilities: Document Verification as per Entrust-Sectigo LRA Verification Guideline. Document Filing as per Entrust-Sectigo LRA Verification Guideline. Knowledge of new products and services by Entrust, such as VMC and PKI as a service. Communicating with Entrust-Sectigo team and overseeing Completion of Verification for clients certificates. Doing webinar sessions or conference call in helpings clients complete CSR generation if required. Overseeing and helping clients (via webinar) with installation of SSL certificates if required. Helping clients to trouble shoot at any stage of point. Timely completion of certificate issuance and installation. Remote (Tel/Web/email) business development (Partners/Customers). Case Studies, Customer Testimonials & Events coordinationSSL Certificate Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot SSL certificates across web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc.).Manage SSL certificate renewals, revocations, and deployments to ensure timely and proper security implementations.Assist customers in resolving SSL errors and misconfigurations, including those related to expired, mis-issued, or incorrectly installed certificates.Server Configuration: Provide technical support for web server configuration related to SSL/TLS protocols.Troubleshoot and resolve server-side SSL/TLS issues, including cipher suite issues, protocol mismatches, and handshake failures.Assist in setting up secure server configurations in line with industry best practices (e.g., enabling HSTS, OCSP stapling).DNS Management: Manage DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.) and support integration between DNS management consoles and SSL services.Help customers configure DNS records for SSL certificate validation, ensuring domain ownership and timely issuance.Provide support for DNS propagation issues related to SSL installation and setup.Customer Support: Provide expert-level technical support to internal teams and customers for SSL and DNS-related issues via email, phone, and chat.Investigate and resolve SSL-related incidents, including troubleshooting security certificate-related problems.Collaborate with the support and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement solutions for SSL-related issues.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation on SSL configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and DNS management best practices.Provide regular status reports and updates on ongoing issues, outages or any escalations.Required Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:Strong experience with SSL/TLS protocols, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with web server management (Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc.) and SSL configurations.Familiarity with DNS management tools and consoles (e.g., cPanel, Cloudflare, Route 53, or others).Knowledge of security standards and protocols, including SSL/TLS versions, cipher suites, and encryption mechanisms.Experience:Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, specifically with SSL and DNS management.Familiarity with SSL certificate authorities and validation processes.Experience with server operating systems, including Linux and Windows Server, and basic networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Certifications (optional but preferred):Certifications in SSL/TLS, networking, or security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.).Web server or DNS management certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.).
