Job Description: This is Freelance work (like Self-Employed / Field Nation / Upwork ): Means you will work for your own, and you will get paid only for the activities you will perform. For example, let's say our customer wants to install one router in their office, and our team assigned that activity to you. Now you have to visit our customer site and complete the task. After completing the task you will share invoice with our team. Scope of work: IT Support Engineer Designing and installing well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling. Performing troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network. Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management. Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections. Extend computer support for systems’ software and hardware. Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems, troubleshooting and Router installation Network and connect computers within organization to better communication. Freelance work Process (step by step): Whenever our customer needs any help related to Desktop / Network Support L1 and L2 in your area, our team (Help Desk Team) will contact you over email OR by phone call / WhatsApp. Then our representative (Help Desk Agent) will brief you about the problem at the customer site. You can accept OR decline the ticket as per your availability. If you decline the ticket, then we will get back to you with another ticket in the future. If you accept it, then you need to visit our customer site with few tools like a laptop with Windows 10, a few cables, one USB drive, and a strong internet connection, etc. Tool requirement depends on the problem/ticket. ** After completing the activity, you will fill out one activity report and get it approved by the customer, and share it along with the Invoice with our team Few examples of Tickets: 1. Hardware Recovery || 2. Router installation || 3. Windows Update, Config, and upgrade || 4. Smart hand support || 5. Router / Switch IP Config etc. Note: This position involves tickets on weekdays (Task can be on any day in between Monday- Friday) and working hours will be general business hours (Can be any time in between 9-5).
