Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Lead to join our team. The Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure, including middleware, database administration, networking, and systems architecture. This role requires leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and a proactive approach to manage, support, and optimize infrastructure services. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure supports business needs and growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure systems, including network, databases, and middleware solutions. Oversee the management and optimization of Oracle databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for all critical infrastructure components. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Work with middleware solutions (e.g., WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, or similar) to ensure efficient deployment and integration with other systems. Collaborate with the DevOps, application teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure meets business needs and performance targets. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior infrastructure team members. Ensure proper monitoring, security, and compliance across all infrastructure layers. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure solutions, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines. Lead incident and problem management activities, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues. Implement and manage automation processes for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management. Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven Experience: 10+ years in infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Middleware Expertise: Hands-on experience with middleware technologies such as Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Apache, Nginx, or similar. Oracle DBA Skills: Extensive experience in managing and optimizing Oracle databases (including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and backup/recovery strategies). Networking Skills: Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security. Infrastructure Management: Strong background in managing physical and virtual infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar), and data center operations. Automation & Scripting: Proficient in using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Operating Systems: Expertise in both Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs. Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of security best practices related to infrastructure, data protection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and lead a team, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management. Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Oracle DBA, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCSE, AWS/Azure certifications). Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks. Experience in cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools. Thank you!
