Objectives of this roleLeading the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor identification, RFP qualification and commercial closure as per project requirement/specification.Developing and executing SCM strategies that align with the companys goals and customer requirements.Contract/agreement drafting and finalisation as per terms and conditions of RFP.Pre-bid Interaction, engagement with Bid team regarding technical and financial eligibility and clarifications as per company PQ/TQ criteria. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.Participating in negotiation sessions to secure favourable terms and conditions while focusing on profitability as per tender terms & conditions.Coordinating with various teams, including sales, technical, BID, Billing, Legal and finance to ensure all aspects of a SCM are addressed.Identification of Risk and Liability and mitigation plan as per project timeline and Project requirement and terms.Managing and control budgets, resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.Identifying new vendors as per project / RFP requirement.Maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid Documents, files, records of communication and pricing information.Ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulations and industry standards.Monitoring and evaluating SCM performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Having good customer and vendor database.Task:Identify and evaluate new vendors through market research, competitor analysis and client need assessment.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, operations and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop SCM/procurement strategies.Coordinate and facilitate project review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.Work with project/finance/bid teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability targets.Coordinate with cross functional team and compliance teams to ensure the GST compliance and timely payment.Monitor and track SCM/BID performance metrics, analysing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Conduct post-procurement analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for procurement.Continuously refine and improve SCM processes, templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices in Procurement & vendor management.Required skills and qualificationsBachelors degree B Tech/MBA/business administration or a related field.5+ years of experience as a SCM-Procurement manager or a similar role, preferably in India.Having good communication skill (speaking & writing)Experience in managing sourcing (supply & services) as per project requirement and support on bids.Knowledge of Indian government procurement processes and regulations.Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, RFP, Product development and contract negotiation.Being well acquainted with the Indian market, contract laws/GST compliance and regulations.Proficiency in ERP system (Oracle / SAP).Ability to monitor and control budgetary and cost-control measures with solid negotiation and persuasive skills.Attention to detail and high accuracy in procurement/savings and review.Familiarity with government procurement processes and industry-specific bid requirements (if applicable).Preferred skills and qualifications:Excellent vendor management skill and having good vendor database(Telecom & EPC sector). Strong procurement planning & management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.Ability to create visually appealing and engaging SCM/bid presentations. Excellent organisational and time management skills.Excellent in interaction with internal and external customers to address the query/issues.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the timely delivery of material, services and issues/queries arise by cross functional team.Contract drafting and finalisation as per RFP terms & Conditions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.Proficiency in ERP system (Oracle / SAP).Education: Diploma or B.Tech or BE in Electronics or Electrical or Mechanical. 8-10 years of experience as Direct purchase of Electronics, Electro-mechanical items/equipment direct or from Manufacturers and suppliers. Should have worked in Telecom or EPC organizations. Should have good Techno-commercial, negotiation skills and well versed with contractual legal, statuary and Taxation classesWalk-in interview : Virtually/ F2F at the company given location
