Job Summary This role involves the preparation and maintenance of financial statements in conformity with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the United States of America (U.S. GAAP). The primary responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day accounting processes and reviewing the accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, preparation of General ledger, revenue entries, Review of Accounts payables, managing inventory costs, debts etc. Duties Maintain books of accounts and ledgers for clients and their entities under US GAAP. Prepare and review financial statements and general ledgers for accuracy and compliance. Manage revenue entries, inventory, receivables, and payables. Implement and follow accounting policies and internal controls. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany ledgers. Act as the accounting contact for internal queries. Support month-end/year-end close and prepare journal entries. Assist with external audits and provide required documentation. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support tax reporting. Additional Responsibilities Assist in hiring, training, and supervising accounting staff as per client policies. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting domain is necessary. CA, CPA, CMA or similar professional qualification from a recognized body within the country or abroad is bonus but not mandate. Partially qualified candidates with expertise in the necessary domain will also be considered if found apt for the role. Candidates should ideally showcase experience/knowledge with the U.S. GAAP (General accounting and taxation). 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred. Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation along with excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal associates and external partners. Ability to apply advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and the capability to work with time-bound environments.
