Job title: Engineer - Inspection Company: Tecnimont Location: Global, with specific project-based assignments Type: Full-time, permanent Job Description As an Engineer - Inspection at Tecnimont, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of engineering projects, by conducting thorough inspections and assessments. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to identify and resolve any potential issues that may impact the project's success. Your primary duties will include: Conducting inspections of engineering projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and materials to identify potential defects or concerns. Collaborating with project teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols. Performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant tests. Generating detailed inspection reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders. Participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to verify the functionality and safety of engineering systems and components. Providing technical assistance and support to project teams to address any quality-related issues or concerns. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inspection and quality control within the engineering or construction industry. Professional certifications in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT, API, or AWS) are highly desirable. Proficiency in using inspection equipment and tools, as well as relevant software applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.
