Job Description

We are currently retained by a by a leading clean energy/EV company to hire an Institutional Sales Lead who will drive company's growth with large-scale partnerships primarily focussed on government business, PSU, and infrastructure expansion across India. The key responsibilities include leading institutional sales with PSUs, government bodies, and large enterprises, managing tender bidding, and identifying strategic sites for infrastructure deployment. Additionally, the incumbent will work cross-functionally with project, strategy, and operations teams to support end-to-end execution and ensure alignment with EV infrastructure goals. Please note experience in institutional/government sales, tender bidding, and infrastructure acquisition in the EV/energy/infra space is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: - Lead institutional sales and partnerships with PSUs, state/central government bodies, and large corporates - Identify and evaluate opportunities through tenders, RFPs, and direct proposals - Drive infrastructure acquisition by identifying and securing high-potential locations - Liaise with internal teams for project feasibility, technical assessments, and permitting - Ensure regulatory compliance related to EV infrastructure and land usage - Build a pipeline of opportunities across states and ensure execution readiness - Lead a team focused on institutional business development and infra rollout - Support policy advocacy efforts by engaging with government stakeholders and aligning projects with state/central EV policies To fit the bill, you must have: - Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronics/Automobile); MBA is a plus - 10+ years of experience in institutional/government sales, tendering, or infrastructure development - Background in EV, clean energy, or infrastructure - Proven success in government/PSU engagement and large-scale project execution - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - Familiarity with EV and energy policy frameworks at both central and state levels - Willingness to travel extensively across India Please apply to this only if you are passionate about the clean energy and want to take on a role with a company that is on fast growth trajectory.
