Job Description

Instrument Design Engineers B.E. / B.Tech in BE- Instrumentation/ Electronics with min. 5+ years post experience in detailed Engineering of Oil and Gas Process downstream and upstream Industry. Well versed with EIL std specification for Instruments and DCS; ESD Based control systems. Expert in issue of Instrument datasheets for items like control valves, PSV, Flow elements like orifice Plates, venturi, Pitot Tubes; Flow meters like Mas Flow, Magnetic flow, Vortex flow; Level Instrument like dp type, GWR, Non contact radar and other Instruments like PT/FT-DP type, TT, LT-dp type, PG/TG ; Temperature Element with Thermowell etc. Aware of Instrument sizing like control valves, Orifice, PSV etc. through Instu calc software etc. Well versed in issue of documents like Instrument Hook up drawings its BOM based on Project PMS, Cable schedule and issued of BOM/ SOR for selection of Instrument site contractor. Able to release Material requisition for Instrument Items. Aware of issuing DCS/ ESD base IO List. Vendor offer evaluation for Instruments as mentioned above. Release of TER (technical evaluation report) for Procurement actions. Effective Technical and Interpersonal skills in English for coordination with Detail Engineering Contractors, Instrument Vendors, Process Licensors etc. Knowledge of working Principle of Sulphur, SOX, NOX, CO, SPM Analyzers. Gas detectors etc. Review and approval of vendor drawings and documents for Instruments and giving manufacturing clearance 3D Modeller Cum Draftsman Graduate in any discipline with Certificate course in drafting from a reputed institute with min 10 -12 years in Refinery or Petrochemical Industry or, Any Oil and Gas Designing Projects works, including working in Brown fields and revamp projects, with reputed Detail Engineering Contractors like EIL, Technip, Samsung, Aker, Bechtel, Fluor etc. Job Responsibility Modelling and Preparation of Drawings in conformance to Project & Process specifications, scope of work, Design parameters, Engg codes, Good engineering industry practices, for Supporting Minor Modifications in various units. Piping Modeling on PDMS. Model Pipe routing & Support in PDMS Piping design for Generating Isometrics and sketches from Model. Correlate the proposed changes in field with existing Model, Isometrics & GADs. Read and understand Piping GADs, Civil structural and architecture drawing. Basic Piping Design and detailing and work in close coordination. ASME codes knowledge Knowledge of P&IDs Knowledge of Civil, structural and architectural drawing for detail drawings. Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software to produce design and construction drawings.
