Pre-sales Activities: Assist the sales team by providing expert design advice and creating compelling design presentations for potential clients. Conduct client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, translating these into effective design solutions. Develop detailed design proposals and mood boards to support the sales process. Design Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that design concepts are aligned with client expectations and company standards. Coordinate with the production team to ensure the feasibility of design ideas and the accurate execution of custom designs. Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. Client Engagement: Engage with clients at the flagship showroom, providing personalized design consultations and showcasing Alankarams product offerings. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and interior designers to drive sales and repeat business. Handle client queries and provide after-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Research and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations to provide clients with contemporary and stylish solutions. Conduct market research to identify client preferences and emerging design trends, integrating these insights into design proposals. Networking and Promotion: Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote Alankarams brand and products. Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts, including architects, designers, and suppliers. Organize and participate in promotional events and showroom activities to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed design documentation, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, design proposals, and project progress. Provide regular reports to senior management on design activities and client feedback. Education: Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial projects. Experience in a pre-sales or client-facing role is highly desirable. Knowledge of luxury furniture design and high-end interiors is a plus. Skills: Strong design and conceptual skills, with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. High level of creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for design. Personal Attributes: Customer-focused with a strong sense of initiative and drive. Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
