Job Title : Interior Designer Department : Design Location : Anywhere in Hyderabad Reporting to : Head-Design _____________________________________________________________________________ ________ Job Summary: To carry out below mentioned tasks using cultural pillars of PACE (Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, Excellence) to build Bay Window into India’s most aspirational furniture Brand. The interior designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans of Showroom interiors and furniture and inspecting construction on site, to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. _____________________________________________________________________________ Passion · Passionately innovative · Strong understanding and demonstrated aptitude of design principles · Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in design · Proactive Solution-orientation · To Determine Goals and Requirements of the Project · Civil Layout with schedule of Opening Researching and coming up with new design and New Market trends related to Design and Material Accountable 1. Meeting stakeholders to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget. 2. Space planning to create efficient layouts and optimize customer traffic flow. 3. Developing design concepts that align with the stakeholder's vision and brand identity. 4. Prepare detailed drawings to execute the project, including furniture, flooring, plumbing, electrical layouts, detailed production drawings for proposed furniture, wall treatments, facade 2D and 3D etc. 5. Coordinating with contractors and suppliers for smooth project execution. 6. Supervising the entire design project, including scheduling, progress monitoring, and issue resolution. 7. Budgeting and cost estimation to ensure expenses remain within the allocated budget. 8. Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. 9. Continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and practices. Excellence · Should have drawing knowledge of Showrooms/outlets/retails /commercials. · Take functionality and cost into account in every decision · Create A Timeline for The Interior Design Project And Estimate Project Costs. · Making 3D Models in Sketch Up Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision. Collaboration Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project is on schedule and take timely update from Project manager At times in collaboration with vendors at a beginning level so that in absence of PM, you could coordinate with vendors as and when required Education, Experience , Requirement & Critical Success Factors Diploma / Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field. Min 3+ Yrs work experience Portfolio of design work. Experience with computational design. (Luxury Showroom Interior design) Highly creative, imaginative and artistic. Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
