As an Interior Designer atVal-Ed Initiatives, you will have a unique opportunity to design and createinnovative learning environments that align with our educational goals. You will be responsible forcreating and conceptualizing value-based design spaces, and infrastructures forschools and other educational institutes. You will work closely with us tounderstand our needs and preferences, and then develop a plan to create a spaceand structure that meets client needs. You will collaborate witheducators, principals, and other stakeholders to ensure that our spaces promotepositive learning experiences and personal development. *Key Responsibilities:* SpacePlanning: Develop space plans and layouts that optimize the use of space foreducational and communal purposes. Interior Design: Createaesthetically pleasing and functional classrooms and school environments thatalign with our mission and values. Material Selection: Chooseappropriate materials, furnishings, and decor that enhance each spaces overallambience and purpose in consideration of the clients budget. Collaboration:Work closely with educators and content creators to ensure the design supportsthe educational objectives and our values. Project Management: Oversee theimplementation of the projects, ensuring they meet quality and timelinestandards. Client Interaction: Regular meetings with clients/ vendorsand writing Minutes of Meetings (online/o ine). Some of your specificresponsibilities will include: Brainstorming ideas and creatingsketches Creatingconcept sketches and 3D views Working on AutoCAD drawings Exploring new materials and designdetails Creating clients presentations Regular meetings with clients/ vendors and writingMinutes of Meetings (online/o ine) Supporting other design-relatedfunctions Managingvarious project designs and Execution timeline Streamlining the processes andmethods used *Qualifications:* Bachelors degree in InteriorDesign or a related field. Provenexperience in interior design, preferably in educational or institutionalsettings. Proficiency in design softwaresuch as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, V- ray or similar. Strong creative and conceptualthinking, with an eye for detail. Excellent communication andteamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Able to work under minimal supervision. Software and Applications- Hands-onexperience with any design software (Sketchup, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.)Experience in other CAD packages is an added advantage. Skills in image renderingprograms and Illustrator/Photoshop are a plus.
