Interior Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Engineer to oversee and manage the interior works for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit-out activities, ensuring design accuracy, quality standards, cost control, and timely completion in alignment with client expectations and project goals. Key Responsibilities: Interpret interior design drawings and translate them into on-site execution plans in collaboration with architects and interior designers. Plan and manage all interior works including false ceilings, flooring, partitions, carpentry, electrical and plumbing fit-outs, painting, and finishing. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials and services. Supervise on-site installation, fit-out, and finishing activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Monitor project timelines and budgetary limits for interior scope and recommend corrective actions where needed. Review and verify shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups for approval. Ensure that all interior work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards. Report project progress, risks, and issues to the project manager and senior leadership. Conduct inspections and prepare snag lists for rectification prior to handover.
