Job Description / Responsibilities: As an Internal Instrument Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting technical sales from within the office, acting as a liaison between customers, the sales team, and engineers. Your role includes: Understanding Customer Needs: Identify customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions. Technical Sales Support: Clearly explain product features, applications, and benefits. Proposal and Quotation Development: Prepare accurate and competitive technical quotations and proposals. Order Entry and Management: Manage the end-to-end order entry process and coordinate with manufacturers. Technical Consultation: Assist customers with technical troubleshooting and guidance throughout the sales cycle. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers. Sales Target Achievement: Support the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations. Desired Candidate Profile: A technically skilled sales professional with 23 years of experience in preparing proposals for instrumentation products. Able to function as the central contact point between customers and internal teams. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Key Skills Required: Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of instrumentation technologies and applications. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation ability. Technical Problem-Solving: Capability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues. Organizational Skills: Effective time management and task prioritization. Computer Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant industry software. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 2–3 years in technical sales or proposal preparation for instrumentation products.
