One of the main tasks as an Operational Buyer is to manage the day-to-day tasks within purchasing team. You will act as an escalation point for our different departments and be responsible for any running changes within our change management system. You keep the contacts with our suppliers alive and make sure to update our price and order database accordingly.To offer our customers the best solution, you will constantly search for and negotiate the best deals with our suppliers. You evaluate the customers needs, look for new opportunities in the market and you always make sure to find the best suitable customer-focused solution. Preferred candidate profile Looking for an Engineering Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive sector/ industrial manufacturing sectorTechnical interest is required and mechanical or material knowledge is a plusAnalytical capacity and negotiation skills are key: proven experience in working with and negotiating with suppliers to support organizational goals is requiredProactive orientation and customer-oriented mindsetTeam-playerUsed to working with deadlinesFlexible & persistentGood MS Office skills (mainly Outlook and Excel)Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)Knowledge of fasteners is a plusExperience with an international environment is a plusPerks and benefits Will match with the Industry Standard
