Job Title: Inventory Executive cum Auditor Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Salary: INR 240000 to INR 300000 per annum (CTC) About Us: Gulmohar Lane is a premium furniture and home décor brand. We are looking for an experienced individual to lead our e-commerce operations and help grow our online business. Job Summary: The Inventory Executive is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing stock records, coordinating with procurement and sales teams, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory data in the system. This role ensures that stock movements are efficiently monitored and controlled to support smooth business operations. Conducting audits of physical inventory and inventory management processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role plays a critical part in identifying discrepancies, improving inventory controls, and production entries. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and movement using ERP or inventory management software. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and avoid overstocking or stock outs. Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, including turnover rates, discrepancies, and shrinkage. Ensure all inventory transactions are correctly documented and comply with company policies. Manage inventory reconciliation and support month-end and year-end closing processes. Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend disposal or discount strategies. Assist with the implementation of inventory control procedures and policies. Conduct regular and surprise audits of inventory in warehouses, retail outlets, and production units. Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies. Review inventory management processes and controls for effectiveness and compliance. Evaluate stock movement documentation such as GRNs, dispatch notes, and stock transfer reports. Provide detailed audit reports with findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations. Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to implement corrective actions. Monitor high-value or sensitive stock items to detect theft or fraud risks. Ensure audit activities align with internal controls and corporate governance standards. Production Entries. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance 2–4 years of experience in inventory management or a related role. Proficiency in inventory management systems (Busy/ERP) Strong analytical and organizational skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
