About the Role We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchase Manager to streamline our procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and ensure inventory never goes out of stock . This role requires expertise in Tally Prime, Zoho Inventory, and advanced Excel , along with strong negotiation and supply chain management skills. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors & suppliers (currently 800+ vendors). Negotiate pricing & payment terms to optimize procurement costs. Ensure timely purchase orders (POs) and track order status. Develop a supplier performance evaluation system to maintain quality & efficiency. Inventory & Stock Control Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking. Implement inventory tracking systems using Tally Prime, Zoho Inventory, and Excel . Coordinate with the inventory team to analyze demand & optimize stock flow . Develop purchase planning & forecasting models based on past data. Price List & Cost Management Mastery in Excel is a must should be able to create and manage detailed price lists for thousands of SKUs. Maintain and update vendor pricing records to ensure accurate cost calculations. Implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Logistics & Coordination Coordinate with transporters & suppliers to ensure smooth delivery & tracking . Resolve supply chain bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues with vendors. Ensure proper documentation & compliance for all purchase transactions. System & Process Optimization Standardize purchase policies & workflows to ensure efficiency. Improve integration between Tally, Zoho Inventory, and Excel for better tracking. Identify cost-saving & automation opportunities in procurement. Key Requirements Experience & Skills 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (preferably in retail/trading businesses). Mastery in Excel is a must ability to create and manage price lists efficiently. Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, Zoho Inventory, and Excel . Excellent negotiation & vendor management skills. Strong analytical mindset with experience in purchase planning & forecasting . Ability to handle multiple vendors, track stock, and prevent stockouts efficiently. Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment or hardware industry is a plus. Personality Traits Proactive and solution-oriented. Strong leadership and communication skills.
