Role Summary As part of Reconciliation and Corporate Actions team, you will provide operational support and services for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accurate management of reconciliation processes and corporate actions across equity, fixed income, and FX transactions. You will represent Global Operations to the highest standards, ensuring seamless execution of trade lifecycle management, reconciliation, corporate actions, and reporting processes. This position will involve collaboration with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, and other internal teams to drive operational excellence, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency across various financial products globally. Years Of Experience At least 3-5 years of previous experience in the financial services industry, ideally in an operations or reconciliation capacity within an asset management firm or financial institution. Qualifications Ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments, handling ambiguity and change effectively. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, ensuring precise data accuracy. Solid understanding of the securities and fund industry, particularly in equity, fixed income, and FX products. Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of database applications or programming languages like SQL, VBA, or Python is a plus but not required. Strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to conduct deep dives into new subject areas. Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and embrace new opportunities. Responsibilities Oversee the reconciliation of equity, fixed income, and FX transactions, ensuring accuracy across systems such as Bloomberg AIM, State Street, and JPMorgan. Ensure accurate account closures and handle final reconciliation requests from fund administrators. Perform detailed position reconciliations, including cash reconciliation, dividend tax postings, margin movements, and corporate actions. Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of positions, trades, and corporate actions. Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage corporate action operations, ensuring proper processing of dividends, tax adjustments, mergers, and other corporate events. Review, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in daily, monthly, and quarterly reports, addressing issues promptly. Drive change through workflow and technology upgrades to improve the corporate action and reconciliation process. Generate and review pivot tables, NAV comparison reports, and other financial documentation to ensure data accuracy. Maintain detailed documentation and inventory of all reconciliation and corporate action processes. Monitor and mitigate operational risk, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across all financial operations. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide support in analyzing data and presenting analytics to improve decision-making and streamline processes. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive company data and adhere to operational best practices. Maintain exemplary conduct in line with the organization’s Code of Conduct and values. Candidate Requirements Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities. Familiarity with Bloomberg AIM, State Street, and other financial systems. Previous experience with corporate actions, trade reconciliation, cash, and position tracking. Experience with trading and portfolio management systems, preferably in an asset management environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
