Job Overview Lateral emSoft Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled IoT Solutions Installation & Service Manager to oversee the deployment, maintenance, and service operations of our IoT products across various industries, including cold chain, fleet tracking, and asset monitoring . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IoT devices and cloud platforms . Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Deployment Management Oversee the installation of IoT devices, sensors, and controllers across customer sites (cold storage, fleet vehicles, industrial equipment, etc.). Ensure proper configuration and calibration of IoT hardware and connectivity modules (GSM, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Bluetooth). Coordinate with the internal R&D and engineering teams for seamless integration with existing customer infrastructure. Conduct on-site testing and validation to ensure successful deployment. 2. Service & Maintenance Operations Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for installed IoT systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, connectivity, and cloud applications. Work closely with service engineers and field technicians to provide guidance on issue resolution. Ensure minimal downtime by implementing proactive service strategies. 3. Customer Support & Training Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding installation and service-related concerns. Conduct training sessions for customers on using IoT platforms, mobile apps, and cloud dashboards. Provide remote and on-site assistance for troubleshooting and device reconfigurations. Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction. 4. Team & Vendor Management Manage a team of field engineers and technicians for installation and service-related tasks. Collaborate with vendors and partners for hardware procurement and third-party service support. Optimize resource allocation for service visits across multiple locations. 5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain installation logs, service records, and customer support tickets in a structured manner. Prepare weekly/monthly service performance reports for internal reviews.
