Job Summary: The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee and manage the IT infrastructure required for conducting examinations. This role ensures the seamless operation of IT systems, network security, and troubleshooting to safeguard examination data and ensure optimal performance during mock and exam days. The candidate will also be responsible for asset management, process improvements, and team training to maintain high operational standards. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Setup and Monitoring Review and examine the setup of IT infrastructure required for conducting exams, including server rooms, networks, LAN availability, and associated hardware and software systems. Monitor security measures to safeguard exam data and ensure compliance with data protection protocols. Ensure the availability and functionality of IT systems during mock exams and exam days. Operational Efficiency Suggest cost-saving measures across IT infrastructure and operations based on usage or service levels. Ensure rapid troubleshooting and resolution of network and technical issues to minimize downtime during critical exam operations. Identify and implement improvements in IT processes, technology utilization, and security measures to enhance efficiency and reduce system faults. Asset Management and Reporting Optimize IT assets to ensure their efficient utilization and extended lifecycle. Conduct monthly reviews of stock sheets for IT equipment, verify physical assets, and sign off on reports. Provide detailed audit reports to the Test Centre Administrator, including recommendations for equipment replacements, repairs, and upgrades. Training and Support Train invigilators and crowd management teams on IT systems, procedures, and security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and system misuse. Assist exam-conducting agency technical personnel with biometric device activation and other required IT support. Team Management Recruit, train, and manage Junior and Senior IT personnel to ensure smooth IT operations during examination activities. Develop retention strategies and manage team attrition in alignment with organizational goals.
