We are seeking a skilled IT and Security Manager to assess our IT operations and security infrastructure. Job Summary: The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and implementing robust security protocols. This role requires a proactive leader with hands-on experience in IT management, cybersecurity, and compliance. Maintain effective professional relationships with leadership. Maintain expert knowledge on all business procedures associate with assets and capacity. Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization. Ensure timely resolution of service tickets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Implement best practices for IT service management (ITSM) to improve service delivery. Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff. Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages. Maintains organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Security Operations: Security Monitoring: Oversee 24/7 security monitoring and incident detection. Log Analysis: Analyze security logs and alerts for anomalies and potential threats. Security Policy Enforcement: Enforce security policies and access controls. Security Testing: Conduct regular security testing, including vulnerability scanning and assessments. Endpoint Security: Ensure the security of endpoints (computers, mobile devices, etc.). Security Audits Conduct regular security audits and assessments. Security Reviews Review and approve security configurations and settings. Security Incident Management Oversee the handling of security incidents and breaches. Security Patch Management Ensure timely application of security patches and updates. Incident Response Lead the incident response team in the event of a cybersecurity incident. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Drive data analytics initiatives to derive insights for decision-making. Infrastructure Management: Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers. Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems. Plan for capacity growth and scalability of infrastructure. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Vendor and Partner Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure that vendors meet their contractual obligations. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization. Documentation and Reporting: Technical Documentation: Ensure that technical documentation, including design documents and code repositories, is accurate and up to date. Progress Reporting: Provide regular status reports on software development projects to senior leadership. Team Building: Build and lead high-performing software development teams. Performance Evaluations: Conduct performance evaluations for software development staff. Skills Development: Identify skill gaps and provide opportunities for skills development. Career Pathing: Define career paths and growth opportunities for team members. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of success. Strong technical background and expertise in areas such as network, Desktop administration, system architecture, and cybersecurity. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology with business objectives. Strong project management skills and experience with IT project lifecycles. In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
