Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining desktop systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Mac operating systems and standard business applications. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems as needed. Set up new user accounts, email, access rights, and profiles in Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets. Perform system upgrades, patching, and antivirus updates. Ensure proper documentation of incidents, solutions, and IT procedures. Collaborate with network and systems teams on broader IT initiatives. Provide support for video conferencing systems, VoIP, and remote access solutions. Participate in IT projects including system rollouts, migrations, and deployments. Maintain compliance with IT policies and security standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or IT technician role. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 , Microsoft Office 365, and common desktop applications. Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) . Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP). Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSA/Modern Desktop, ITIL . Experience supporting MacOS and Linux (optional).
