Shift Time Zone: US Eastern business hours Job Summary: As an IT Technical Recruiter, you will play a critical role in driving the full-cycle recruitment process to meet MGTs talent needs in IT and technology. You will work closely with hiring managers, leadership, and candidates to deliver a seamless recruitment experience, particularly for public sector and SLED (state, local government, and education) roles. You will also partner with stakeholders to craft and execute sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn and other talent platforms, to identify and attract top talent. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute end-to-end recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for IT roles Partner with clients and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop tailored recruiting strategies Source candidates through various channels, with a focus on LinkedIn, job portals, and open source platforms Build and maintain strong relationships with passive and active candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience Negotiate offers, compensation, and terms of employment with candidates Facilitate background checks, offer letters, and onboarding paperwork Proactively build pipelines of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs, particularly within the state and local government sectors Leverage data and market insights to inform sourcing strategies and improve recruitment outcomes Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing regular updates and insights on recruitment activities Drive initiatives to promote MGTs brand and enhance visibility within IT and public sector talent markets Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field One (1) or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience in IT, preferably in public sector, consulting, or SLED environments Hands-on experience hiring and placing full-time/W2/1099 & corp-to-corp candidates Proven expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent on platforms like LinkedIn, Monster, and DICE Deep understanding of RFPs, MSP models, and public sector recruitment processes Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision making Strong relationship-building skills with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and vendor management systems (VMS) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on collaboration and persuasion Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently Prior experience managing a high-performance recruiting team is a plus Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Why Join Us?
