Role & responsibilities Packaging Design for Food Products: Design packaging for various food items, including pouches, bags, jars, and cartons, ensuring that each design meets industry standards and complies with food safety regulations. Focus on creating visually appealing packaging that attracts consumers while maintaining brand integrity. Multilingual Design for Food Products: Create and adapt designs for multilingual packaging, ensuring that text, layout, and visuals are culturally appropriate and comply with regional regulations for food labeling. Logo Design & Editing: Conceptualize, create, and modify logos to suit the brand's identity within the food industry, ensuring that designs are scalable, recognizable, and suitable for food packaging and marketing materials. Business Collateral Design: Design professional business cards, visiting cards, and other corporate branding materials that align with the brand and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms. Collaboration with Product and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and R&D teams to ensure that packaging designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to project timelines and consumer expectations. Quality Control: Ensure that all food product designs meet high-quality standards, including color accuracy, typography, and overall visual appeal, while adhering to packaging regulations for food safety. Brand Consistency in the Food Sector: Maintain brand consistency across all food packaging designs and related materials, ensuring the designs are consistent across digital, print, and physical food packaging. Revisions & Feedback: Incorporate revisions based on regulatory, or internal feedback, ensuring that all food product designs are compliant, on-brand, and ready for production. Preferred candidate profile Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Additional certifications or courses in packaging design, branding, or food product design will be a plus. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in packaging design, especially for food products. Experience working with packaging regulations and knowledge of industry standards for food product labeling and packaging is highly preferred. Previous experience in designing both digital and print materials, with a focus on product packaging, logos, business cards, and marketing collateral. Key Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design. Knowledge of food industry regulations related to packaging, labeling, and safety standards. Experience in creating multilingual designs that are culturally appropriate and compliant with regional packaging laws. Ability to design for both aesthetic appeal and functionality, ensuring packaging is eye-catching yet practical for product use and shelf placement.
