Java API Developer

Job Description

Skills and duties Heavy Java Development with a strong understanding of API development. Needs to know tools like Postman or other API tools. This team is focused on supporting two platforms, Advantage (Advertising) and Social (FB, Twitter, etc.). This developer will be pulling data from both platforms, combining them in a MongoDB database instance, and using that data to create Industrial webpages” displaying the data for the business. Developer needs to understand HTML and CSS at a basic level to create these webpages. Should be able to create basic Webtools on these sites to “Export” the data or “email” the data directly to business users of the data. Developer also needs a solid understanding of SQL and will need to know how to do some standard “joins” in SQL. AI Experience: The team is beginning to adopt more AI technology and is using internal LLMs, but at this point, for the right candidates, they only need to be able to demonstrate some form of experience leveraging ChatGPT (or other tools) to be more efficient and effective in their day-to-day job.
