Location: Remote Experience Required: 8+ Years Job Type: Full-time, Remote Industry: Banking Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend systems. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Core Java , Multithreading , Spring MVC , Spring Boot , and Hibernate . This is a fully remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic and innovative team. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications using Java technologies. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability. Use multithreading and concurrency techniques to build high-throughput systems. Work with Hibernate for ORM and database interactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise. Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement in development practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Core Java . In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Multithreading , Concurrency , and Memory Management . Expertise in Spring Framework including Spring MVC and Spring Boot . Strong experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database operations. Proficient in building RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies.
